Saturday, October 13---Crabbing and Crab Boil!
Meet at the church at 6:30 a.m. to go crabbing. Fishing licenses are required.
Feel free to bring fishing poles, mosquito spray, sun screen, folding chairs...
Those NOT crabbing are invited to join the fishermen at the PSC at 3p.m. for the crab boil, tons of fun, and a Trunk o' Junk exchange.
Contact Chuck Huddleston for more details on the crabbing adventure and to confirm if you will be eating that day. (337) 532-2503.
Trunk o' Junk is an opportunity to bring anything you want to discard and give away... Think of it as a garage sale in which you GIVE AWAY the stuff you no longer want. It's a good motivation to clean out your closet...your house...and attic...and shed... (Anything no one wants is already loaded into your vehicle to haul to Goodwill or the trash dumpster!)

July Personal Challenge: Cultivate Celebration
Whether it is acknowledging Independence Day with a snow cone and fireworks or singing the praises of a child's completed chore, look for reasons to celebrate. Make a big deal out of the little things. Decorate for a non-birthday party. Go on an outing. Invite a friend over for games. Eat on the good dishes. Look for ways to sprinkle joy into your life and the lives of those around you. Come on! Kick up your heels and celebrate!
Prayer Opportunity: July 4. Pray for the USA.
