Life should be the same. We should complete enough tasks to be productive but not overload our plates until we actually induce lethargy and get fewer things accomplished. Our bodies need time for rest to replenish. One of the best ways I've found to rest is to take a Sabbath rest. I enjoy setting aside Sunday to empty my plate of the usual hectic pace and fill up on spiritual refreshment.
Tip/Tidbit. I tend to be task-driven. As a result, I can overload my life until I’m rendered ineffective. What is your personal tendency: laziness or overload? Is your agenda too full and nigh to being miserable? Today, strive for a balance of productivity and rest and plan for Sabbath replenishment while you're at it.
