Having a good time together can be about the frivolous, but it doesn’t have to be. Working on a project together is a great way to make memories. My daughter and I spent one of her school breaks painting our kitchen. We had so much fun taping, layering texture, and transforming our dull walls into something warm and beautiful. This break, our projects have been associated with our daughter's graduation and end of school activities: making her announcement, selecting photos for the ceremony, college meetings, and teacher's gifts. Whether it's one giant project or several small ones, accomplishing a shared task is a great way to connect during Spring Break. Tip/tidbit: complete a work project together. -weed a flowerbed -organize a closet -make teacher appreciation gifts -put together a memory book or scrapbook
