“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
As Israel prepared to take possession of their land, they had to hold the word of God with tenacity. They did this by speaking it, thinking on it, and observing it. When we are trusting God for victories in our lives, we can apply the same actions. We read the Bible, think about what God has said, talk about what He has done, and follow the Spirit’s leading. This builds faith in our hearts because “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”
Tip/tidbit: Spend extra time reading God’s word this week. Think about what you’re reading. Begin to talk about the things you see God doing in your life and the things you’re expecting Him to do.
